OVERVIEW

Pakistan's energy requirements are increasing every year with a growing gap between the energy demand and its supply. To fully realise its economic potential for meeting the energy needs, the country requires an adequate energy security plan with maximum utilisation of indigenous resources and the development of renewable sources as part of the overall energy mix.

This year POGEE Conference is designed to address the current energy issues with more focus on suggesting various possible options available to the industry. The leading local and international energy companies, researchers, consultants and professionals are being targeted to enlighten the stakeholders with their valuable knowledge and experience for securing promising energy future.

In addition, the Conference will provide attendees with an opportunity to not only gain practical insight from leading experts but will also get a chance to network with the prospective business partners. It is our goal to connect you to all the players in the market.

• Two-day conference, comprised of three different sessions under the following themes

• The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Hilal A. Raza, Director General/Chief Executive, Hydrocarbon Development Institute of Pakistan

• 27 eminent speakers including 21 local and 6 international addressed the audience

• International speakers were from countries like India , Russia , Saudi Arabia , Turkey , USA , Germany and Malaysia

• It was attended by federal and state ministries, private energy companies, banks, international experts, academia and the press representing more than 200 participants
